A food pub, but not obviously. I went there with a group to try and have a quiet drink but found The Tipsy Pig to be quite hostile to this idea. It seems that every table inside is for food only, but you only find that out by sitting down and being moved off the table. If Tipsy Pig wants to be a food pub, that's fine but it should be clearer about which tables are for dining customers only. That being said, the beer was good and there was a good selection of it. The service at the bar was prompt and the table servers were quick to notice us when we sat down which is probably good news if you want to eat.

We went for brunch and all of our food and drinks were really good. It was fairly full and busy but the service was prompt and respectful. Overall good spot

This place has an overall chill atmosphere, and delicious food. the mini burgers (sliders) are just a thing of pure joy and beauty. The drinks are good. Staff is friendly, bartenders know there craft and do it efficiently. My only beef with this place is the disappointing pretzel fondue appetizers. The "pretzels" need some serious Jesus. I don't even feel right calling them pretzels. I would only feel right punishing someone by making them eat them... The fondue was good, but not good enough to hide the lack of pretzel those dence flavorless week old bagels holes tasted like... Sorry not sorry. That was the only reason you are not 5 stars... also I was like 5 drinks in when I had them, and they still we're bad... Pretzels should just be making me thirsty, not filling me with regret... anyway good talk...

Strawberry Fields Forever! Best drink on the cocktail list. The burger and the fried chicken sandwich is legit.

I came here for brunch this weekend with a friend and had a great time. We were seated on the back patio and it was a beautiful sunny day. I had the salad and my friend had the soup. Also, the sweet potato fries are a must! Would definitely go back!

Romantic mood lighting, cozy space for a date. Great service. Draft beer AND draft wine along with a long list for bottles. Enough said. I'd come back for sure.

A great local spot in the marina, the tipsy pig is awesome whether you’re keen on a no-fuss bar atmosphere, comfy sit down, or if the weather is playing nice — a surprise outdoor patio area for brunch! Service was excellent, and seating preference was really accommodating. Love a place with pleasant staff. The food itself was both delicious and presentation wise was spot on! (Huevos rancheros and the Dutch pancake). Would definitely return.

Great vibe, excellent food, decent service, the back patio is the best thing abt that place. A bit too pricey but then again, it is the Marina district so you should expect to pay more. I'd go back for a special occasion or if someone else picked up the tab!

What an excellent experience!Casual, local, great ambiance - I loved everything about this place. My friends actually took me here for a birthday dinner and I couldn’t be more pleased. It was one of those rare occasions where you’re stuck trying to figure out what to order because there are so many things I wanted to try. We had our drink orders taken and food order taken and everything came out SUPER quickly which was surprising because they were fairly busy. Food was absolutely incredible - couldn’t be happier with it. I will say that the portion size for the plate I got was a bit smaller than I would have liked but that may vary from case to case. Price was what you’d expect for what you get so no real surprises there. Also a great selection of beer! All around an excellent experience here and will definitely be needing to make my way back here for lunch or dinner.

Solid, friendly service. Friendly bar staff and really good 'Tipsy' burger w/ special house sauce n fries. Also the beer pretzels are one of a kind w/ a dank beer cheese sauce n chives. Smackin'! We'll be back. Cool spot for sure 👌👌👌👌👌👌

I was disappointed after reading so many good reviews but everything was lackluster. I got 2 cokes and were both flat. We ordered the mac and cheese and it was runny and flavorless. We also ordered 2 burgers that had no flavor alongside some pretzel bites who’s saving grace was the beer cheese sauce. I hated all of the food and it was a whopping $72. We did not get drinks which I believe is what they are known for but its a shame that they give bad food to those who don’t order drinks.

Perfect place for day drinks and happy hour in the city! Drinks aren’t cheap but that’s typical for the Marina. Cool outdoor atmosphere and crowd.

I really liked this place. I had brunch here and the food & drinks were delicious. The back patio is lovely. However I would give 1 star less because they ran out of waffles, they couldn't make ranchero without the meat and so I had to get my 3rd pick from the menu. Also the side order of doughnuts was not good.

Great food and very friendly. We went with some out of state family but would go back. Their menu is small but seems well curated. It has a millennial hipster look and seemed like a nice place to meet friends for cocktails.

Fantastic food, but awful service. Got the fried chicken and specialty drink. Again, delicious. But I had to eventually get up and request our checks, because the waiter clearly forgot us. When he brought the checks, he walked away again. I had to take the checks to the front to be processed (waiting 25-45 min in between).

Great crowd and a nice place to hangout at. waitress was in a hurry to kick us out though which was the only negative point. Shrimp appetizer was really good and so were the fries.

Wait staff couldn't figure out who could seat us and wether or not we could sit outside at 2pm on a sunny Sunday afternoon when the place was only half fun. Kind of felt like the staff was trying to shut down the bar early so they could go home early. Felt very rushed, mildly unwelcome. Drinks were pretty good but staff were disorganized and the host had no idea what they were doing.

The Tipsy Pig is a fun place to go with friends. Sitting in the back patio with the string lights is always a fun ambience for a group. I have gone for both brunch & dinner. I thought the brunch food was better than the dinner foods. We ordered the BREAKFAST TACOS, the Breakfast Sandwich, Eggs Benedict, and the OLD FASHIONED DOUGHNUTS. For dinner my friends and I got the Spicy Tuna, Fish Tacos, and the Tipsy Burger. The french friends were delicious, the meal itself was good not amazing. The Strawberry Fields is a delicious drink to add to every meal!

Great pub in the Marina district with a big patio in the back. The place was fairly full when we visited and had a great vibe. The drinks were A-OK but it's a great hangout spot for a weekend drink with friends. Like any bar, the place does tend to get a bit loud

Always love coming here, the food is really well done and in perfect portions. They have literally the best fried chicken n mashed potatoes ive had anywhere. They taut their mac n cheese as the best in the world or i read it somewhere, n it is good dont get me wrong but not grandmas. The drinks here are what most folks come here for and they always have a raving crowd. Oh one tip, if you go for food order the apple pie dessert first as it takes over 30 mins to bake. Cant go wrong here and reservations are highly reccomended.

I love this local spot! So spacious and warm, even outside during the cold SF nights! A good, heart and versatile menu with options for different dietary requirements. This is also a great spot for larger groups - the staff were very well accommodating when we arrived (without a booking) for 10 people! Drinks are delicious and well made. The vibe is great too!

We stopped here to eat before a concert at the Palace of fine arts Theatre. We were able to sample some of the happy hour offerings and some of the regular menu items. I tried the sliders and my friend had the tacos. We started off with the pretzel bites with a cheese beer sauce. Beer list is excellent and so is the service. Very nice interior as well.

Absolutely great food. I thought it would be standard bar fare, but it is exactly the opposite. I was in a group of 8 and no one had a bad meal. The tuna tartar is a must! great service too! Fun neighborhood feel.

During the Super Bowl they didn’t serve food between 3 and 4pm. At 5pm, in the middle of the game, they asked us to leave our table if we weren’t staying for dinner. Really?!?! Unacceptable when we kept ordering drinks and food all afternoon long. Good guest but worst service! More positively, the manager Mikel deserves great credit for smoothing our situation over. He’s a wonderful host and should be recognized for his good job!

One of the best gastropubs that I've ever been to. I've been meaning to get here for awhile and no idea why to took me so long. Awesome vibe, especially on a Warriors game day. Packed house, but got seated pretty quickly and never felt rushed out. The food was incredible - started with the Pretzel Bites w/ Beer Cheese and a Blind Pig IPA. Tipsy Burger with bacon was cooked Medium Rare to perfection. Can't wait to come back and enjoy the back patio next time.

San Francisco is expensive. But charging $9 for one ounce of fish (see photo and fork for size reference) is embarrassing. Calling it a beet salad when it has 1/8 of a beet sliced thin for $12 is also embarrassing. I am so disappointed that I gave this place business.

My boyfriend and I are from out of state. We decided to walk around to find local bars. We were so impressed with this place. Amazing food and beer that we don't have back home. The pretzel bites were we're almost like cheddar biscuits with a warm beer cheese. So good. Definitely was not disappointed.
